RAiD Integration
Introduction
RAiD (Research Activity Identifiers) provides persistent identifiers for research projects, enabling seamless reporting of research activities to funders and institutions.
RAiD identifiers can be associated to project groups, which allows RSpace to report research to RAiD when the research are exported to a repository, such as Dataverse. RAiD identifiers cannot be attached to other group types such as lab groups, or communities.
A RAiD identifier, once associated to a project group, cannot be re-associated to other project groups. Association only need to happen once; afterwards all exports will use the RAiD identifier on the project group automatically.
To starting reporting your research to RAiD, there are three steps:
- Connect your account to a RAiD server
- Associate a RAiD to a project group
- Report research activity to RAiD when exporting items
For server administrators: Please see the Setting up RAiD Integration on how to set up RAiD server integration for you end users.
